We are delighted to announce that Senior Care Assistant Tracy Wallace has successfully completed the ‘Six Steps to Success’ training programme with the Wirral NHS Foundation Trust, which has enhanced her own understanding and the quality of end of life care provided throughout Summer Fields Care Home. Tracy has worked tirelessly to become our home’s End of Life Champion, and we couldn’t be prouder of her determination and effort. End of life care is an essential part of what we do, and the programme embeds a philosophy of palliative care while supporting those working with residents from all walks of life. Tracy’s persistent efforts have helped to introduce appropriate end of life care documents to those that need them, while ensuring that many residents have Emergency Health Care Plans.
